American Nikolaus

We tried to tell Christopher to put out his shoes for the Nikolaus tonight, but he insisted on putting out his Christmas stocking from Grandma instead.

Ha, the stockings from Grandma. We hung those up for “Santa Claus”. So the kids kind of got a triple dose of Nikolus, on the 6th, Christ Kind on Christmas Eve, and good ole Santa on Christmas morning. Spoiled kids.

Nikolaus used to come to my workplace, but I think he was laid off this year. No chocolate on our desks this morning… :-(
