I’m a little slow on the uptake, but I just noticed that Andrea’s Weblog is now Serendipita with her own domain. It’s the oldest continuously running German weblog. And funny how most of us editthispage.com veterans are now on WordPress. We’ve all been blogging so long, shouldn’t we all be rich by now?
Update: Er, I mean second oldest.

Heh.
I bet you use an RSS reader – I got an email from someone asking me how I got Netnewswire to change the url of my feed; it took him a while to notice as well.
I’m not sure my weblog deserves to be called “oldest continuously running” because there were dozens of online diaries/weblogs before Blogger, Manila etc. came out. But I agree that we all should be rich!
You’re right, I use Bloglines, and all weblogs there look the same. You don’t notice changes unless you read carefully.
Until we find a German weblog that has been running longer, the title is yours. (Notice I was polite enough to say ‘longest’ and not ‘oldest’.
Actually, I’ve now for a second time forgotten Martin, who started on EditThisPage a couple of days before Andrea.
Was I before Andrea?
on http://traumwind.editthispage.com/discuss/msgReader$1 it says: started 12/28/1999; 4:24:08 AM
I can’t check on andrea.editthispage.com as it redirects to the new domain…
I actually think Andrea was before me. She had a site before ETP was official I think.
