I would LOVE one for dinner! GREAT idea! BUT not a GREAT idea changing the configuration to “implant” the MCafes around Hamburg. TWO places have been “wrecked” with “the new” look. Sitting at bars that are far too narrow for we heavier folks! Is something being “said to us”? Now back to food …. GRREAT idea and while at it in Germany, how about Hash Browns! :-)

I would love that. I hate when I have to eat at McDonald’s, but when I do, I much prefer their breakfasts. I can’t stomach their hamburgers anymore.

I’m biased as I’ve only ever been in one McD (but it was for breakfast)(and I have the benefit (?) of living in a kid free zone) – the sad thing for me is that HH is normally fairly clear of litter (compared to the UK)when you do see some it usually has the golden arches on it somewhere.

I didn’t realize McD breakfasts would bring so many comments. In Germany they are a miniscule part of sales, so don’t look for all-day breakfasts here soon.

For you Americans following along, a McCafe is a Starbucks-type coffee bar set up inside a McDonald’s restaurant. They have a separate counter and menu, but share the dining area.

Lee, all McDonald’s here will be remodelled in the subdued leather McCafe look, and about a third of the restaurants will be outfitted with McCafes. They’re very profitable, sales go up by 20% when a McCafe goes in. And since McCafe is the flagship project of a certain someone I know at McDonalds in HH, I doubt that they will be going away anytime soon.

LOLOL I “figured” it was close to home. Okay. FLAG away but seriously, the sitting in long rows is NOT conducive to group conversation. My opinion: Hume McD has been ruined with the configuration. AS I said above: and fat people (close to THIS home :-) can NOT wedge in. So there! I DO appreciate, however, the outside chairs. Now THOSE are nice and comfy.
Mrs. “Flag,” Why NOT hash browns?
