That was a satellite, a small-footprint location that offers a limited menu. They simply don’t have the freezer space to store two types of patties, so don’t offer Royal burgers (which, as all fans of Pulp Fiction know, are Quarter Pounders). However, “QPC-equivalents” are on the permanent menu at full-sized restaurants.

Maybe I'm a bit behind the times here, but...where'd my metric-system-QPC go? We stopped for a snack at a store at the Freising Bahnhof last night, and there were no QPC-equivalent sandwiches offered -- just a Big Mac or double hamburger / cheeseburger.

Did everyone phase that out? Or just certain venues?
