@Megan Thanks for the reminder that I've been planning for weeks to write about the Veggieburger once it was released. So I finally did: V is for Veggieburger.

Our sales in the cold weather varied by location. Our flagship store in Dibbersen is only reachable by car, so with the bad roads they were down close to 10% from last year. The stand-alone in Harburg has residential neighborhood in walking distance, they were +/-0%. The satellite in the shopping center is our pride and joy right now, they were up double digits.

The snow has been gone for a week now, and sales are back up to our projections.

I would have thought the cold weather would spur the consumption of comfort foods, not the other way around.

Well, your restaurants are nowhere near me, but McD's just got me back as a customer now that there's a veggieburger. I was pretty ticked off for several years about the disappearance of the "gemüsemac" leaving me high and dry on road trips. I can't say it's the most amazing thing I've ever tasted but at least I have options again.

Are people ordering it?
